About Me

My name is Sara Jorgensen and I am a mom, Registered Nurse and Certified Personal Trainer living with my little family of three on the beautiful Central Coast of California. I have been a practicing nurse for about ten years and have been an avid health and fitness enthusiast since the first day my now husband showed me how to lift a weight over 20 years ago. Needless to say, from that day forward I have been completely in love with fitness. Coupled with my medical/clinical knowledge and many years of dealing with individuals with chronic health conditions and declining physicality, fitness has become an even greater passion of mine, both personally and professionally.

However, another equally important thing I have learned over the years is that to be the healthiest, fittest versions of ourselves we have to address all of the areas that can impact it. Exercise is just one pillar of health, albeit a pretty big one. I have experienced it personally as a midlife female with her own health issues ranging from hormone imbalance, to hair loss, to chronic infections. I have seen it many times as a nurse, having treated many individuals with chronic disease and health conditions such as heart disease, Diabetes and orthopedic issues. I am passionate about it because I have lived it, and continue to live it every day. You deserve to feel your best, and it is my deepest hope that you will let me help you get there.

My Philosophy

They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, well neither are we. Being healthy and fit isn’t something that happens overnight, but with the right trainer coaching you and educating you about your body and its unique needs, you can get there. I don’t believe that being fit and living a healthy “fit” life has to be a painful experience, both literally or figuratively. I certainly know that it isn’t for me. We can do excruciatingly hard workouts and fad diets and achieve short-term results, but it certainly is not sustainable for very long (or all that pleasant.) It took me a little while to really learn this, but it is not about going hard all of the time. It’s about making small changes and being consistent. As a personal trainer and fitness coach, I believe it is my job to teach you about how to move your body safely and effectively and how to nourish it optimally based on your health or dietary needs so that you can, and will, want to move it in some way everyday. So that you can start waking up each day with the energy and vigor that we all deserve. For those looking to get started to those who are looking to optimize their health, together we can find a way to get you to where you want to be and onto many many more years of a healthy, fit, beautiful life.
